STS Objective
We are an NGO comprising high school students dedicated to promoting equal rights for children worldwide. We made the decision to establish this organization in August 2020, when COVID-19 began affecting the lives of young individuals the most.

Research
COVID-19, Poverty, Children’s Poverty, UN, UNICEF, etc. Related Literature and Statistical Surveys: Conducted extensive research on various topics including COVID-19, poverty, child poverty, and related subjects. Collected statistical data and literature pertaining to these issues.
Literature Review on Gambia: Conducted a comprehensive literature review on the country of Gambia, focusing on various aspects such as social, economic, and educational conditions.
Fundraising Project Modeling
- Identifying the Need for Fundraising: Recognized the necessity for fundraising efforts through direct communication with local teachers in Gambia. Researched and assessed living conditions, with a specific focus on children’s education and housing.
Project Sponsorship Purpose, Topic Research, Fundraising Planning, Writing, PR, and Fundraising Activities: Engaged in in-depth research and planning to define the purpose of the project sponsorship, conducted topic research, devised fundraising strategies, prepared fundraising content, managed public relations, and executed various fundraising activities.
1st Donation: Directed the first round of donations to the Gambia Children’s Center. These contributions were allocated to support local children’s centers, providing resources for programs, packed lunches, and outdoor activities aimed at improving the well-being and education of children in Gambia
Research
Planning and Execution of the ‘Eco Soap Project’ to Support Children’s Education in West Africa: Researched, planned, and successfully executed the ‘Eco Soap Project’ aimed at providing support for children’s education in West Africa.
Contacting the Gambia Missionary Center and Organizing Project Members and Duties: Established communication with the Gambia Missionary Center, organized project team members, and defined their roles and responsibilities.
Crowdfunding Fundraising
- Utilizing OHMYCOMPANY Crowdfunding Platform and Collaborating with Herbs Seoul for Eco Soap Rewards: Conducted crowdfunding fundraising activities using the OHMYCOMPANY crowdfunding platform. Collaborated with Herbs Seoul to offer eco soap rewards to backers.
2nd Donation: Distributed rewards, STS appreciation postcards, and stickers to sponsors. Transferred the full sponsorship funds to the Gambia Regional Shibano Center in Africa for the purpose of supporting children’s education.
